The costs for businesses can quickly mount up in many areas, especially if you’re developing any bespoke software.
However, one area where you shouldn’t be tempted to cut costs is in software testing for your new technology. A recent article for business.com explained why this is always worth the money you spend.
Writing for the website, Nadya Knysh, managing director at a1qa, stressed that quality should always be the highest priority for any organisation, and that’s why software testing is an essential part of the development process.
She explained that the complexity of software products is “growing much faster than anyone could have expected” in the early 1990s or even 2000s.
“Your end users are more demanding: they want better interface, faster application, availability from wherever and whatever and so on,” Ms Knysh stated. The other problem with failing to test is that issues will slip through. In today’s world where consumers have multiple other options to choose from that can lead to your product being sidelined.
Businesses shouldn’t assume that software developers are able to carry out all the necessary testing. It’s better to work with a software quality management company to ensure that your software is rigorously tested and ready for market when it’s released.
To get an idea of where things can go wrong, take a look at our blog post about some of the biggest software fails in recent years. Among them is a software issue with a Cardnet system that resulted in thousands of people in the UK being charged twice for debit card transactions.

the things you mention I am now doing but there are a couple of things for me to implement. Thanks
for sharing.
